Nature Video: Antikythera Mechanism - Part 1
Part 1 of Nature.com video on history and research into the Antikythera Mechanism. Includes discussions of the use of x-rays and x-ray computed tomography scans to reveal the hidden mechanism. Each scan produced 3,000 images of 12 MB each, for a total of a terabyte of data -- similar total size to the Archimedes Palimpsest imaging.
